Video Production in St. Augustine, FL
Video production in the nation's oldest city, for brands that want to stand out in it.
A local partner that starts with strategy
St. Augustine gives you some of the most cinematic backdrops in Florida, and some of the most competition for attention. We help St. Johns County businesses turn that setting into video that sells: hospitality films, real estate tours, testimonials and ads that cut through a crowded tourist market.
With millions of visitors comparing tours, hotels and restaurants every year, the St. Augustine businesses that win are the ones whose video shows the experience before the booking. We plan around the crowds, the heat and the historic district's rules so the shoot goes smoothly.

Frequently asked questions
Do we need a permit to film in downtown St. Augustine?
Commercial filming on city property and in the historic district generally requires a city film permit, and some sites like the Castillo are federally managed with their own rules. We handle permits and location releases in pre-production.
When is the best time to film downtown?
Early mornings on weekdays. We usually schedule exteriors right after sunrise to get clean streets and soft light, then move interiors to midday when the crowds and heat peak.
How much does video production cost in St. Augustine?
It depends on crew size, shoot days, locations and how many deliverables you need. A single-location testimonial and a multi-day brand film are very different budgets. We scope every St. Augustine project on a free consult and send a fixed quote, so you know the number before we start.
How long does a video take from kickoff to final delivery?
Most projects deliver in three to six weeks: roughly one to two weeks of pre-production, one or two shoot days, then one to three weeks of editing and revisions. Social content days and event recaps can turn around faster.
Do you write the script, or do we?
We do, based on your strategy call. You approve the script and storyboard in your project portal before the shoot, so there are no surprises on set.
Can we review edits without a pile of emails?
Yes. Every Chasing Creative project runs in our production platform. You leave time-stamped notes directly on each cut, see what's been approved, and download finals from the same place.
